As the Grand Aeolian-Skinner Stewardship Committee continues moving forward with the historic conservation of the instrument we have chosen Harris Organ Works of Denver, Colorado to handle the project. Kris Harris has been associated with the organ for many years working alongside David Salman in efforts to bring it to a more useful and reliable state. He is familiar with the quirks and has first-hand knowledge of what needs to happen to bring the organ to it's potential. His expertise in organ building and renovation will be a terrific asset to the project. He is working alongside our minister of music, Eric Reagan, to determine the best ways to use existing elements of the organ and what needs to be replaced or repaired. Potential stop lists are being developed to bring the instrument more truly into the Aeolian-Skinner style.
